Job Summary
Aircraft Structures Assembler responsible for assembling, fitting, aligning, and installing aircraft structural components (fuselage frames, bulkheads, wings, flight control surfaces) from engineering drawings and process specifications. Duties include precision drilling, riveting, countersinking, sealing, and applying protective coatings; using jigs and alignment tools; performing quality checks and first-article inspections; reporting deviations; and maintaining accurate production records. Requires reading blueprints/technical drawings, familiarity with aluminum alloys, composites, and titanium, and adherence to safety standards in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Working in a production hangar/assembly line in Mississauga, ON with full-time schedule; on-site with PPE; shift/overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or vocational training in aircraft assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical technology
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in aircraft structural assembly or aerospace manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings/technical specifications
- Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools, precision measuring instruments, and assembly jigs
