Job Summary
Aircraft Structures Assembler responsible for assembling, fitting, aligning, and installing structural components of aircraft (fuselage frames, bulkheads, floor panels, wings, and flight control surfaces) from engineering drawings and process specifications. Perform precision drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastening; align parts to exact tolerances; install and adjust structural elements to meet geometry requirements; apply sealants and protective coatings; use jigs and alignment tools; conduct quality checks and first-article inspections; report deviations or defects to engineering/quality control; maintain production records and adhere to safety and aerospace standards.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma or vocational training in aircraft assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical technology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in aircraft structural assembly or aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of riveting, drilling, sealing, and fastening techniques used in aircraft manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain precision under tight tolerances.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
