Job Summary
Manage and ensure the smooth running of the sea and air freight department by arranging import and export deliveries, raising and checking international shipping documentation, and processing customs clearance. Monitor transportation to ensure timely international deliveries, liaise with third parties and overseas offices to move goods per customer requirements, and handle transport cost negotiations. Process supplier invoices, manage quotations using tariffs, update tracking systems, and resolve queries for internal and external clients while maintaining high-quality customer service. Work Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30 in Northampton.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of working in Air and Sea Environment
- Geographical Knowledge
- Previous Import/Export experience
- Excellent communication skills – with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong planning and organisational skills
