Job Summary

Air Quality Specialist provides technical leadership on environmental matters, serves as primary client contact for air quality projects, and prepares air permits and related conditions. Responsibilities include emissions calculations, regulatory analyses, coordination with clients and regulatory agencies, developing proposals, and delivering project presentations. Role requires organizing technical material into comprehensive reports, training staff, and supporting business development while traveling to field sites in Michigan as needed. Strong communication, client service, and project-management skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include a Professional Engineer license and experience in project planning and budgeting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the Air Quality field including: Clean Air Act permitting, State and federal regulatory compliance evaluations, PSD and Nonattainment NSR, BACT, MACT, NSPS, Title V, Part 75, and Dispersion modeling
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites/offices in Michigan.
