Job Summary
Lead the Air Quality and Noise Department by directing work assignments, managing staff loading, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective utilization of resources. Drive profitable growth by achieving financial performance targets, managing the department budget, and preparing monthly financial reports for global practice management. Provide expert-level technical guidance, oversee QA/QC processes, and ensure compliance with safety policies while leading recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with business development and project managers to secure work and navigate organizational change. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields with seven years of experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence change within a global practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field from an accredited curriculum
- 7 years of related professional experience in design and/or project management
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients
- The ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change
- Strong project management skills
- A strategic perspective
- Must be an expert in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
