Job Summary
Drive to and in client facilities to obtain permits, conduct inspections, audits, and sampling, and maintain air monitoring equipment. Supervise fieldwork personnel, ensure quality work, and lead weekly team meetings while generating accurate documentation of all activities. Manage client project budgets, timelines, and scopes; draft proposals; and train employees on internal processes. Aids in business development by meeting with current and potential clients. Responds to calls during evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A two-year technical degree with two or more years of relative experience
- six or more years in the Air Quality field
- A minimum of two years of industrial experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must maintain an insurable driving record
- Must possess a TWIC card
- Knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, standards, and procedures
- Ability to read, interpret, create, and assemble from drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and sketches
- Strong electro/mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Must have good written and verbal skills
- Must have the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word, and other technical programs
- Must have knowledge of ambient air monitoring and concepts
- Must have knowledge of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems
- Must have knowledge of air regulations
- Must have experience in some capacity with fence line monitoring
- Must have basic troubleshooting knowledge of analytical equipment
- Must have Basic Safety Plus
- Ability to travel frequently and on short notice
- Ability to walk long distances
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work at elevated heights
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain, sometimes for extended periods of time
