Job Summary
Senior Manager, Air Proprietary 2 Mission Systems Sensors and Core Avionics—leads engineering teams across RF, EO, and Core Avionics, drives program execution and metrics, interfaces with customers and program offices, oversees supplier execution and safety, and ensures systems engineering integrity and risk management. The role requires strong leadership in developing managers and engineers, applying program management best practices (including EVM), and delivering technically compliant mission systems across the lifecycle. Requires on-site work in Berkeley, MO, U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance; relocation may be offered based on eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years related work experience
- Minimum 5 years engineering leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years applying Program Management Best Practices including project planning/scheduling and Earned Value Management
- Minimum 3 years technical experience in mission systems development and integration
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) or equivalent
- Ability to obtain program access; U.S. Citizenship required
