Job Summary
Air Operations Planning Analyst supports the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence G-3 at Fort Benning, GA, coordinating equipment and resources for parachute and rotary-wing operations; drafting and finalizing memoranda of instruction for JA/ATT; tracking requests and resources, maintaining flight-hour and funding records, and preparing diverse correspondence and reports using MS Office and SharePoint. Requires experience in Army air operations, military communications, protocol, and active Secret Clearance; travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Possess specialized skills, knowledge, and abilities required for Air Operations Planning tasks.
- Experience in all facets of Army air operations.
- Experience in military correspondence, basic file management ability and organizing skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Strong communications skills (oral and written), ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce.
- Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command.
- Former Senior NCO or Officer with relevant air operations planning experience similar to the duties outlined for this position is preferred.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is Required

- Travel: Travel will be required
