Job Summary
Execute end-to-end air shipments by coordinating with airlines, trucking partners, and terminals to arrange freight within provided SOPs. Input data into systems to create files, complete Mawb and Hawbs, and submit AMS or EDI as required. Manage timely invoicing to clients and subcontractors while handling customer advice, claims, and feedback. Ensure all operational activities comply with international shipping regulations and company policies. Collaborate with account managers and customs teams to maintain system accuracy and drive process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields
- 1-2 years of experience in air operation or related roles in freight forwarding/logistics
- Fluent in Japanese
- Good written and spoken communication in Japanese
- Good written and spoken communication in English
- Detail-oriented
- Structured
- Eager to learn global supply chain operations
- Customer-focused mindset
- Flexible and open to work on weekends
