Air / Ocean Export Agent

Assist Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Air or Ocean Export Department, ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsible for preparing international transportation documents, coordinating and negotiating rates with contracted vendors, ensuring accurate client and vendor billing, and data entry into the operating system. Communicate with customers to arrange export shipments, maintain compliance with OPS and external regulations, analyze department processes for efficiency improvements, and support KPI targets. Build and maintain relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking, and others) and customers; participate in transitioning new business and retaining existing customers. Required 1 year+ of industry-specific experience; Hazmat certification preferred; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; pro-active in adopting system/process improvements; proficiency in English with knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
