Job Summary
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences seeks a full-time Exercise Planner to support the Air Mobility Command’s STORM FLAG exercise program at Little Rock AFB, AR. Responsibilities include identifying and coordinating exercise Desired Training Objectives (DTOs) and Desired Learning Objectives (DLOs); attending exercise planning conferences and coordinating AMC participation in Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) exercises; developing AMC exercise materials and briefings; creating joint scripts via the Master Events Management System (MEMS) using current intel, lessons learned, and TTPs; establishing control cells (White Cell, Exercise Control Cell, Exercise Response Cell, and M&S Cell) to guide exercises toward training objectives; developing an assessment plan with observed evaluations; planning and executing all phases of STORM FLAG and JNTC exercises with the 34th CTS at Little Rock AFB and other locations; drafting program budgets for contract support of JNTC exercises.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (CCAF or equivalent) with 8-10 Air Mobility Command Experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a government background investigation
- Must have a current and active SECRET level clearance
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of air mobility aircrew experience
- Must have strong working knowledge of AMC scheduling and C2 systems.
- Must have strong written and oral skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 - 7 years of air mobility aircrew experience
- 3-5 years of experience with AMC exercise design and coordination
- 3 years of AMC staff experience with knowledge of staff products and processes
- Working knowledge of AMC concepts and practices with regards to exercise design and coordination.
- Schedule
- M-F between 7:30am and 4:30pm Central Time
- 2 weeks of travel in support of up to 4 STORM FLAG exercises annually required
- Shift work during STORM FLAG exercises required
- Telework on limited case-by-case basis
