Job Summary
Manage air import operations including cargo clearance, warehouse receiving, transport coordination, and customs permit declarations. Liaise with service providers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with Singapore Customs and enforce cargo safety and security measures. Monitor project shipments from arrival to proof of delivery, analyze direct cost billing invoices, and maintain incident reports using 8D and corrective action methodologies. Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure smooth service delivery and commitments. Requires weekend and night rostering as needed.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 years of relevant airside experience
- strong understanding of cargo operations
- strong understanding of safety procedures
- strong understanding of regulatory requirements
- Knowledge on every aspect of ground handlers' mode of operations
- Knowledge on Singapore Customs and Controlling Agencies Regulatory requirements
- Knowledge on incident reporting and report i.e., 8D (problem solving methods-8 disciplines) and Corrective Action Report
