Job Summary
Manage and oversee international air export shipments from booking through delivery, ensuring timeliness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Serve as the subject matter expert for documentation including AES filings, commercial invoices, and DG shipments while leading carrier bookings and rate negotiations. Coordinate with domestic and international agents, proactively track cargo, and resolve operational issues. Review and audit export processes to enhance efficiency, prepare performance metrics for management, and provide mentorship to junior staff. Ensure all shipments adhere to corporate standards and environmental initiatives. This on-site role requires candidates to reside in the Greater Baltimore, MD or Los Angeles, CA areas.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Air Export experience
- Proven experience handling complex international air cargo shipments from start to finish (A–Z)
- Expert knowledge of international air export regulations and documentation
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make critical decisions under pressure
- Experience managing relationships with carriers, vendors, and agents
- This is an on-site position
- Candidates must reside in either the Greater Baltimore, MD area or the Los Angeles, CA area
