Air Export Operations

Air Export Operator responsibilities include managing air export shipments to maximize profitability, negotiating rates with shipping vendors, and coordinating desk activities from shipment registration to delivery. The role involves pursuing cost-effective routing, handling vendor relationships, resolving export accounting issues, processing invoicing and payments, ensuring accurate airway bills, and maintaining compliance with USA customs, IATA, and TSA regulations. You will book freight with airlines and consolidators, monitor reminders and discrepancies via IIM, and communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure timely, accurate service. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused communication are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while delivering quality service. You will also assist with cost invoicing and collection of charges, and support ongoing process improvement to enhance margins and service levels.
