Job Summary
Lead and coach a team of Air Operations professionals, managing performance, KPIs, productivity, and service delivery. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex shipment and customer issues while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Partner with Air Product, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, CHB, Transportation, and other stakeholders to support day-to-day air export and gateway operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong air export and gateway operational knowledge, including airline coordination and consolidations, within a fast-paced environment. Maersk enables customers to trade and grow by transporting goods globally through its integrated container logistics network.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- Air freight forwarding experience
- Strong air export operational knowledge
- Gateway operations experience, including airline coordination and consolidations
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership, team lead, coaching, or people development experience
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and escalation management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational systems
