Job Summary
Manage the forecast, balance sheet, and cash collection for the Air Dominance portfolio by partnering with program business managers and cross-functional teams. Drive collaboration to develop financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and short-range outlooks, while coordinating unit delivery plans with key financial metrics. Execute FP&A consolidation cadence and provide direct P&L insights to program leadership and strategic partners. Maintain coordination with factory management and external stakeholders like USG and DCMA to support program execution and strategy. This high-visibility role within RTX's Air & Space Defense Systems offers a $1.5B portfolio with complex challenges, requiring a U.S. citizen with a Secret clearance to influence decisions and drive bottom-line results.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- 3 years experience
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP (APEX/PRISM)
- Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills
- Ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight
- Experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools
- Experience with Balance Sheet
- Experience with Cash Collection
- Proven analytical skills
- Experience with Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+
- Experience with accounting policies and processes
- Experience with invoicing best practices or cancelling funds
- Proven experience interfacing, conducting business, and working collaboratively with various functional disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of priorities and maintain on time delivery
