Job Summary
Air Craft Painter role at Bombardier’s Tucson Service Center seeking skilled aviation technicians to support maintenance, repair, modification, and overhaul of corporate aircraft in a fast-paced MRO environment. Responsibilities include performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications per FAA, OEM, and Bombardier standards; reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams; completing logs, sign-offs, and documentation; ensuring safety and regulatory compliance; collaborating with leads, inspectors, and engineering teams; maintaining a clean, safe work area. Roles cover A&P mechanics, avionics, sheet metal, and interiors, with experience on Global, Challenger, and Learjet aircraft and a preference for A&P license holders. Additional duties include component removal/installation, harness work, LRU swaps, and system integration as applicable to each technician specialty.
Required Qualifications
- A&P Mechanics
- Airframe & Powerplant license preferred (not always required depending on role)
- Experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred (Global, Challenger, Learjet)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, component removal/installation, and system checks
- Avionics Technicians: Experience with avionics installation, troubleshooting, harnesses, LRU swaps, and system integration
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and follow OEM procedures
- Sheet Metal Technicians: Strong structural repair/modification experience
- Interiors Technicians: Experience with removal/installation of cabinets, panels, seats, carpets, headliners, sidewalls, and interior components
