Air Conditioning Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC/R systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation equipment. Plan preventive maintenance programs, schedule inspections, and monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal guest comfort and indoor air quality. Lead Air Conditioning Technicians, provide technical coaching, and evaluate staff performance against quality and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, plant rooms, and back-of-house facilities, coordinating with Housekeeping, Front Office, and F&B to minimize guest disruption. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and lockout/tagout procedures. Manage HVAC inventory, spare parts, and maintenance records while supporting energy conservation initiatives to reduce utility costs.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC engineering within the hospitality, commercial building, or facility management industry
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Good understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards related to HVAC operations
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance situations
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and CMMS is an advantage
