Job Summary
Air Conditioning and Refrigerator Technician responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; inspecting and maintaining tools, equipment, and inventory; communicating daily activities across shifts; applying Lockout/Tagout procedures, and performing related maintenance tasks including painting, drywall, and landscaping as needed. Requires basic knowledge of air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical/mechanical, plumbing, and building controls; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong safety adherence and guest-service orientation; license or certification (Driver’s License) and a high school diploma/GED are required. Preferred: prior hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- License or Certification: Driver’s License
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
