Job Summary
Service Technicians perform shop and/or field repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air compressors and components, supporting Northern Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Responsibilities include mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, repair of compressed air systems and accessories, emergency/unscheduled repairs (including after-hours), scheduled preventive maintenance, interpreting manuals and schematics, basic math for work orders, tool and equipment use, reporting faults to the service manager, safety compliance, and occasional overnight travel. May involve welding, towing trailers, and operating lifts/hoists as needed; requires extended periods of standing/sitting, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Must have Refrigeration Recovery Experience
- Ability to interpret schematics and operational manuals for practical application on repair and maintenance tasks
- Working knowledge of compressed air systems and its components
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects up to 100 lbs throughout the work day
- Must be able to drive company vehicle to and from job sites; overnight travel may be required
