Job Summary
Lead and provide technical guidance for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Air Command & Control systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS. Define, organize, and assign activities for engineering and testing while developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems. Provide technical mentoring to teams and interact proactively with customers to identify issues, develop resolution strategies, and evaluate test objectives. Manage lab equipment configurations, document technical status and problems, and present briefings as required. Utilize Wireshark for network analysis and simulation tools for MIL-STD message formats to support data analysis and test reports.
Required Qualifications
- Five years' experience as a systems engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field
- Two years' experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Air C2 systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS
- 1-2 years experience with Wireshark and network analysis
- Top Secret
- Travel is anticipated to be 10% - 15% within the Continental United States and 5%-10% outside the Continental United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory
- Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional
