Job Summary
Warehouse Agent responsible for loading and unloading air cargo, moving freight within the warehouse, building cargo for outbound flights, breaking down cargo from imports, and assisting in the handling of cargo to and from semitrucks. May operate basic cargo-handling equipment (forklift, aircraft pallets, pallet jacks). Ensure DG shipments are checked and follow DG procedures; comply with site security, and report security concerns. Requires ability to understand verbal commands, maintain safety, and work in rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and days off.
Additional Requirements
- This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU) which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.
