Job Summary
Prioritize and validate development software for the Engagement Operations team, reviewing systems engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms to guide developers. Collaborate with program management to set priorities for capabilities, defects, and sprint delivery, while establishing acceptance criteria and functional tests to ensure QA/QC of software deliverables. Provide technical briefings to leadership on mission status, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts. Requires a Secret security clearance, US citizenship, and 7+ years of Government/DoD experience. i3 specializes in missile defense systems engineering and full lifecycle C5ISR services, supporting the Missile Defense Agency and other DoD organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Have a basic understanding of Engagement Operations concepts to include engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction and sensor resource management.
- Have the ability to provide oversight to EO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria.
- Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Be a US citizen.
- Have a Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.
- Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
Desired Qualifications
- An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiar with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services.
- Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
