Job Summary
Operate the machine that cuts laminate sheets while ensuring processed materials conform to industry quality criteria. Perform Safety and Quality Audits, manage orders to meet customer due dates, and communicate with maintenance on equipment problems. Maintain a clean work area per 5S criteria and ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures. Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to improve the process and participate in training and continuous improvement events. This 2nd shift role at Isola's Ridgeway facility requires standing up to 10 hours per shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and includes overtime, extended shift, and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Previous machine operating experience
- Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per shift
- Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds
