Job Summary
Build and count Kraft and parchment paper to create standard cushion packages for books. Place the correct paper sizes for plate build-up and operate elevators to manipulate books. Block books properly to prevent slippage and assist operators with timely breakdown and build-up processes. Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas, including equipment, tools, and surfaces. Perform cross-training duties as needed. This role supports the automated breakdown operation at Isola's Ridgeway, SC location, where you will work the 2nd shift from 1:00pm to 9:30pm with mandatory overtime, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Completion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period or approval of direct
- stand up to 10 hours per shift
- frequent bending, reaching, and grasping
- lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds
