AIG Teacher (Gifted and Talented)

Direct and indirect instruction to Academically and Intellectually Gifted students through lectures, discussions, and visual aids while collaborating with personnel to differentiate learning and implement talent development strategies. Prepare daily lesson plans to ensure curriculum goals are met and manage student behavior to minimize disruption. Coordinate teacher assistants, supervise extracurricular activities, and perform bus, cafeteria, and playground duties as assigned. Arrive at school daily prepared, complete required reports and documentation, and respond to parent inquiries professionally. Participate in staff meetings and student academic conferences, including those for special needs students. Submit detailed lesson plans for absence periods and maintain emergency plans on file.
