Job Summary
Conduct daily self-care assistance for students with special needs, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation. Monitor student behavior and safety while facilitating classroom activities under teacher supervision. Maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents. Adhere to strict drug-free workplace policies and undergo required physical exams and background checks. Submit court disposition documents if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a United States citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must receive a negative drug test result prior to being hired
- Must be cleared for the position via a Physical Exam
- Must provide a court disposition for any sealed or expunged records if selected
- Must provide a copy of DD-214 if claiming Veteran's Preference
- Must list any special certifications, awards or honors obtained in the career
- Must indicate any other language in which the candidate can read, write and speak fluently
- Must have CPR/First AED Certification
- Must have Paraprofessional Test Score
- Must have TABE Scores
- Must have HS Diploma Transcripts
- Must have GED
- Must have College Transcripts
- Must have Licensure/Certificate
- Must have Resume
