Job Summary
Assist members with activities of daily living, personal care, and meal service while facilitating therapeutic recreational programs. Maintain program areas by keeping environments clean, disinfected, and stocked, and monitor members for changes in condition or safety concerns. Communicate positively with members, families, and staff, and participate in staff meetings and safety training as requested. Comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory laws while supporting the center's overall goals. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem roles available with daily pay, PTO, and medical/dental benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period
- Successful results of background check
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- At least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting
- Prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs
- Engaging interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
