Job Summary
Provide personal care services for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Assist with range of motion exercises and ambulation under therapist direction. Administer self-administered medications per state laws and agency policy. Document care provided and report changes in client conditions to the HR manager or Registered Nurse. Maintain infection control practices and a safe environment while communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team. Maintain confidentiality and participate in required in-service programs. Must hold a current driver's license, reliable transportation, and successful completion of formal certification training.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal certification training program and/or a written skills test and competency evaluation
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow written plan of care
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Current driver's license, good driving record, adn reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of six (6) months work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility
