Job Summary
Supervise member productivity and ensure the quality of work product while operating machinery and equipment. Actively assist members with activities of daily living, personal care, and recreation, and encourage community inclusion. Provide emotional support, maintain program areas and equipment, and participate in planning behavior support plans. Intervene in crisis situations as needed and communicate professionally with families and the community. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and comply with safety and regulatory standards. Requires a high school degree, valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Hourly rate is $19.25.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (if will be driving)
- At least 18 years of age unless also driving which requires at least 21 years of age
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills
- Able to teach and mentor others
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer and lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
- Able to navigate technology and to enter data/documentation
- Employment is contingent upon the successful results of background check
