Job Summary
Supervise member productivity and ensure work quality while assisting with recreation, leisure, and community inclusion activities. Provide daily support for activities of daily living, including personal care, meals, and transportation, while maintaining a clean environment. Participate in planning behavior support plans, document progress, and intervene in crisis situations using approved strategies. Communicate professionally with members, families, and cross-functional teams, and collaborate on enhancing member experiences. Maintain safety, comply with regulatory standards, and work a flexible schedule. Requires a high school degree, valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (if will be driving)
- At least 18 years of age unless also driving which requires at least 21 years of age
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills
- Able to teach and mentor others
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer and lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
- Able to navigate technology and to enter data/documentation
- Employment is contingent upon the successful results of background check, and where applicable, additional state-specific regulatory requirements
