Job Summary
Assist members with activities of daily living, personal care, meals, and therapeutic recreational programs while ensuring their safety and supporting interdisciplinary care plans. Maintain program areas, supplies, and equipment by keeping environments clean, disinfected, and stocked. Communicate professionally with members, families, and staff, and participate in required meetings and training. This role requires a high school diploma, current CNA certification, and physical ability to lift 50 pounds. Full-time, part-time, or per-diem positions offer hourly pay with PTO, medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current CNA certification
- Successful results of background check
- additional state-specific regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications
- At least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting
- Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs
- Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds
- able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
