Aide U

Aide U at Cleveland Clinic Health System (Lutheran Hospital) performs housekeeping in patient and public areas to maintain a clean, attractive and safe environment, including patient rooms, utility rooms, nurses stations, bathrooms, locker rooms, exam rooms, and offices. Responsibilities include cleaning per schedules and methods, emptying and relining waste baskets, high/low dusting, dust mopping and wet mopping with germicidal solution, wiping tables and fixtures, replenishing dispensers, performing patient room checkout for transfers/discharges, vacuuming carpets, cleaning showers, transporting trash, cleaning isolation rooms per Infection Control policies, assisting in emergency cleaning, and reporting repair needs. Requires ability to follow chemical usage guidance, participate in department in-services, and meet organizational competencies; education: High School or GED preferred; no prior experience required.
