Job Summary
Aide - Special Education provides instructional and behavioral support for students with disabilities in a school setting. Responsibilities include offering instructional support to teachers, working with small groups and individuals, reinforcing instructional objectives, providing behavioral intervention support, promoting inclusive education, collecting data, ensuring staff/student safety, maintaining records and materials, and participating in parent conferences and district meetings. Requires a High School diploma or GED and a Valid Ohio Department of Education Permit for the assignment; position is a full-time paraprofessional role centered on supporting teachers and students and upholding conduct standards in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
