Job Summary
Assist teachers in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements while working under the supervision of a certified teacher. Perform duties as a Paraprofessional 2 for an 187-day employment term. Maintain a valid Texas educational aide certificate or obtain one as required. Possess a high school diploma or GED, some experience working with children, and the ability to work well with children and communicate effectively. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications

- Valid Texas educational aide certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- SSA Criteria (2 years of study at an institution of higher education; an Associate degree or higher; or can pass a formal academic paraprofessional assessment)
- Some experience working with children
