Job Summary
Aide duties include supervising and assisting students across multiple settings, assisting with classroom activities and movement between activities, supporting physical education and motor activities, supervising students on field trips, assisting staff with various duties, and providing individual attention as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work with students with disabilities, and background checks. Equipment care and learning-material modifications may be required on a case-by-case basis. Location assignments include High School, Middle School, and Elementary schools as directed by the Superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be able-bodied, of good moral character, and adaptable to working around students who may have learning disabilities or physical handicaps, or both
- Student Pupil Permit
- BCI/FBI Background Check
Additional Requirements
- Experience working with students educationally and behaviorally needed
