Job Summary
Assist the teacher with transporting students safely, managing personal hygiene needs like toileting and dressing, and positioning students in wheelchairs or medical equipment. Prepare meals, administer first aid, and implement instructional activities including reading, small group lessons, and art under teacher direction. Supervise student behavior using positive supports across the classroom, lunchroom, and off-campus activities while reporting necessary information to staff. Provide care and supervision for enrolled students with disabilities, participate in parent conferences, and perform light custodial duties to maintain safety and hygiene. Establish positive communication with students, staff, and parents as applicable.
