Aide, ESE Unique Needs

Aide, ESE Unique Needs paraprofessional provides care, supervision, and support for students with disabilities under the direction of a supervising teacher. Responsibilities include adhering to daily schedules, assisting with personal hygiene and behavior management, supporting well-being and safety of students, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires adaptability, cooperation, dependability, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Demonstrates ability to learn and apply new skills and to work cooperatively with colleagues in a school setting. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 pounds; environment is a school district setting in Riverview, FL.
