Job Summary
Assist with the care, supervision, and behavior management of students with disabilities under the direction of the teacher. Perform personal-hygiene support (e.g., toileting, diapering, dressing), help implement classroom/individual behavior management systems, and adapt to district needs. Maintain regular attendance and support district goals; collaborate with staff, follow supervisor guidance, and carry out duties as assigned. Exhibit dependability, cooperative teamwork, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting up to 55 pounds, and other activities as described. Role is full-time and grant-funded, with potential reassignment if needed.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of increasingly responsible experience in education, child care, or related field preferred.
