Aide, Educational- SpEd

Educational Assistant Aide to support teachers in delivering educational opportunities and student growth. Responsibilities include assisting in classroom activities under a certified teacher, working with small and large groups, supporting students’ academic and personal development, facilitating enrichment/remedial tasks, assisting substitutes, maintaining professional conduct, following district/school policies, and complying with safety and ethical guidelines. Requires the ability to assist with personal care tasks (eating, hygiene, mobility, non-instructional activities), completion of annual training, and holding or pursuing NM PED Educational Assistant License Level 3. Preferred knowledge of Diné language/culture and willingness to engage in ongoing professional growth. The role is based at Kirtland Central High School and involves in-person support within the school setting, with adherence to safety and district guidelines.
