Job Summary
Aide, Bilingual Spanish supports English Language Learners under ELL supervision, assisting with program compliance, delivering comprehensible instruction to learners, translating home/school communications, and coordinating with district and school personnel to support parent involvement and district advisory structures. Responsibilities include administering tests under supervision, working with small groups, maintaining program records, providing instructional resources accommodations, and contributing to PLC and DAC efforts. Requires fluency in English and appropriate heritage language, and a minimum of one year of experience in education, child care, or related field. Qualifications emphasize an associate degree or 60 semester hours or ParaPro score, with Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to operate within district policies and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- An associate’s degree or higher – Q-NCLB-A, completed 60 semester hours or two years of study at an institution of higher education – Q-NCLB-B, or passed the ParaPro Test with a score of 457 or higher – Q-NCLB-C.
