Aide – Alternative Academics (AA) Lifeskills (2026-27)

Assist the teacher in the academic and life skills development of identified students with disabilities; assist in the preparation and organization of classroom activities. Actively reinforce appropriate behavior per the ARD committee and school plan, guide individual students or groups in daily activities, monitor personal hygiene and appropriate dress, and provide personal services as required. Supervise small groups in community settings, contribute to a positive school climate, maintain equipment and supplies, and participate in drills and safety exercises. Maintain punctuality, work cooperatively with staff, and stay up-to-date professionally through professional learning opportunities. This role involves frequent standing and occasional lifting, with terms of 183 school days and a PARA 3 pay grade; location is League City, TX. It requires effective verbal communication and the ability to work with children, aligning with CCISD core values and district policies.
