Job Summary
AI Transformation Lead to guide enterprise pharma customers from first conversation through live deployment, bridging product capability and real-world commercial workflows. You will work within the Value Engineering team to shape how the client sells, what they build, and how customers realise measurable value. Responsibilities include owning AI transformation advisory with Sales/Pre-Sales to define high-impact use cases and robust ROI, identifying where digital workers can augment or replace manual commercial workflows (e.g., brand planning analytics, field force effectiveness), building and presenting business cases quantified by cost savings, speed-to-insight, and revenue uplift for C-suite and VP stakeholders, advising on organizational readiness and governance for pilot-to-enterprise deployment, partnering with Customer Success post-sale to drive adoption and expansion, and feeding market feedback back into Product/Marketing/Sales to refine positioning and roadmap. Additional duties include representing the client at industry conferences and leading executive roundtables, with success metrics including new logo acquisition, net revenue retention, pipeline influence, and faster time-to-value. The role requires 10+ years in life sciences/pharma in commercial leadership roles, experience at a consulting/SI/technology vendor serving pharma commercial organisations, hands-on automation/AI project delivery in a pharma context, and a strong ability to present to senior decision-makers. Preferred experience includes enterprise change management familiarity, exposure to causal AI, a strong network in US pharma, and a track record of influencing product roadmaps. Personal qualities emphasize commercial focus, credibility with executives, curiosity about AI and evolving technology, and a builder mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in life sciences or pharma with significant time in a commercial leadership role (brand management, commercial operations, field force strategy, or launch excellence)
- Experience at a consulting firm, systems integrator, or technology vendor serving pharma commercial organisations
- Hands-on delivery of automation or AI projects in a commercial pharma context (RPA, ML/AI analytics, or agentic AI deployments)
- Strong ability to build business cases and present to VP- and C-suite-level decision-makers
- Deep understanding of pharma commercial workflows (HCP targeting, next-best-action, patient analytics, field operations, promotional analytics, IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva CRM)
- Preferred: familiarity with change management frameworks (Prosci or Kotter)
- A track record of influencing product or platform roadmaps based on customer insight
- Comfort working in a high-growth, Series A environment
