Job Summary
AI Subject Matter Expert for Analytica leads ethical adoption, governance, and strategic guidance on enterprise AI platforms, focusing on Responsible AI (RAI) to ensure fairness, accountability, transparency, and trustworthiness in federal/DoD environments. Responsibilities include designing and facilitating RAI Tabletop Exercises, conducting RAI gap analyses, developing COAs, collaborating with cybersecurity, legal, and policy stakeholders, shaping RAI principles and implementation roadmaps, tracking federal AI guidance, guiding risk management, bias mitigation, and cross-agency ethics initiatives, and advising senior leadership on DoD-aligned AI ethics strategy and policy frameworks. Requires active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor’s degree in a related ethics/AI field, and at least 8 years IT/AI experience with 2+ years in RAI activities and DoD-focused analyses. Preferred master’s degree and federal/defense AI ethics policy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Applied Ethics, Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Data Ethics, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of related IT experience, including 5 years specifically in artificial intelligence technology, applications, or policy
- Minimum 2 years of disciplinary expertise across cybersecurity, human factors, ethics, and policy as applied to AI systems
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing and conducting Responsible AI Tabletop Exercises
- Minimum 2 years of experience conducting RAI gap analyses for the DoD, and scoping Courses of Action (COAs) and projects to address RAI capability and process needs
