Job Summary
Handle core accounting tasks including AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close support across the company family. Identify repetitive processes to automate or streamline them using AI tools, and build AI-assisted workflows for financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Try out emerging AI platforms, share learnings with the team, and create reusable documentation templates. Partner with leadership to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights faster than traditional methods allow while staying current on relevant AI developments. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Some exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar) and enthusiasm to build deeper fluency across platforms
- Comfortable picking up new tools quickly and willing to experiment
- Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
- A self-starter mindset — comfortable proposing new ideas without being told to
- Good communication skills; able to explain a new process simply to non-technical teammates
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP familiarity a plus, not required)
