AI Solutions Engineer – Manager/Senior Associate – Tax & Legal Technology

Job Summary
Design and deploy AI-powered solutions for Tax & Legal teams using platforms like Digital Gateway GenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Lovable. Translate business needs into standardized AI workflows, integrating large language models and automation to move pilots to production. Engage with service line stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, ensuring solutions are reusable across multiple lines while adhering to firm governance, security, and data privacy standards. Collaborate with the AI Lead and Risk/Legal teams to review sensitive client use cases and align with Nordic, EMA, and Global AI directives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills and experience building AI or software solutions (3-5+ years in a role such as AI Engineer, or similar)
- Proven ability to code in languages like Python
- Work with APIs and automation scripts
- Develop end-to-end solutions integrating ML/AI components
- Familiarity with modern LLM API platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic
- Frameworks for prompt orchestration or agent development such as Microsoft Copilot Studio are required
- Deep understanding of Generative AI and LLMs, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning concepts
- Hands-on experience implementing large language model solutions
- Familiarity with machine learning pipelines
- Knowledge of data preprocessing
- Basic evaluation techniques
- Experience developing and deploying solutions in an enterprise environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially Azure or comparable cloud services)
- Architecture for integrating AI solutions securely at scale
- Understanding of IT security and data privacy (e.g., identity management, access controls, GDPR considerations)
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms and tools, for instance Microsoft 365 Copilot ecosystem or similar internal platforms
- Excellent ability to work cross-functionally with business domain experts (Tax & Legal professionals) to gather requirements and refine use cases
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to document solutions and train users on new AI tools
- Consultative approach and understanding of professional services or regulated industries (Tax/Legal/Finance) is a plus
- Curiosity and adaptability to the fast-evolving AI landscape
- Stay current with new models, frameworks, and best practices in AI/ML
- Eager to experiment with new tools for practical benefit
- Creative mindset to surmount technical challenges and find pragmatic solutions to business problems with AI
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Fluency in English is required
- Valid work permit
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a role such as AI Engineer, or similar
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist Associate, or OpenAI/Deep Learning AI specializations) are a plus
