Job Summary
Partner with leadership to map workflows and build a prioritized AI roadmap based on business impact, feasibility, and ROI. Architect and deploy production-grade automation, AI agents, and chatbots integrated with core systems like CRM, ERP, and field service management via APIs. Evaluate vendors, manage budgets, and present clear business-term recommendations to senior executives. Develop training programs, run enablement sessions, and mentor colleagues to foster a culture of experimentation. Serve as the company-wide subject-matter expert for AI strategy, tools, and governance while ensuring compliance with security and data privacy standards. This high-autonomy role requires a proven track record of taking AI solutions from idea to production use in real business environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, automation engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML implementation
- Demonstrated track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining AI or automation solutions in production business environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
- Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Microsoft Copilot, LangChain, or similar)
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices and responsible AI principles
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, define solutions for complex or ambiguous business challenges, establish priorities, and deliver results for senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for executives, managers, and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Capability to communicate effectively in person and via digital platforms
- Occasional need to move or transport items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as computers and relevant office supplies
- Adequate visual acuity to read and interpret data on screens and printed materials
- Ability to travel to other sites for support or presentations
- Capacity to adapt to a dynamic work environment, including multitasking and managing stress effectively
