Job Summary
Design AI-enabled solutions that address business, technical and operational requirements; rapidly prototype and evaluate AI tools, platforms and patterns; provide evidence-based recommendations for production use; translate complex AI concepts into practical guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders; ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned to enterprise standards; engage with stakeholders to understand requirements; develop high-level cost estimates and contribute to AI technology roadmaps across platforms and capabilities; apply responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, privacy by design) in production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Contract - 1 year fixed term contract, with potential for extension
- Experience designing AI/ML solutions within cloud environments (AWS preferred, with awareness of Azure equivalents)
- Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms and services, including large language models and related tooling
- Practical experience with techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt design and orchestration patterns
- Ability to prototype and evaluate tools effectively and translate findings into clear architectural decisions
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, design patterns and governance practices
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles and their application in real-world systems
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders
