Job Summary
Design, implement, and test AI-enabled software systems using GenAI and machine learning models within a distributed architecture of RESTful containerized microservices. Collaborate on the full software development lifecycle from initial design to final delivery, leveraging agile techniques to create mission-critical products for military and business leaders. Optimize software runtime performance through algorithmic improvements and ensure systems are built with mastery of object-oriented design and Python. Deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform utilizing VertexAI and manage modular systems in a small, remote team environment. Requires 6-8 years of experience, Secret Clearance eligibility, and proficiency in Python.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in software development, including design, coding, testing, and delivery
- mastery in object-oriented design and programming
- knowledge of design patterns and algorithmic analysis
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience building applications leveraging LLMs as a core component
- U.S. citizen
- eligible for a government security clearance (Secret Clearance)
Desired Qualifications
- experience with other languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++
- Experience working in a small, remote team environment
- Exposure to AI and/or Machine Learning technologies
- Experience with discrete event simulation, geospatial and/or temporal databases, and performing scientific evaluations and comparisons
- Experience using and deploying technologies onto GCP, existing GCP credentials, and familiarity with VertexAI
- Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, Node, and REST APIs
- Experience with database systems such as Firebase and PostgreSQL
