Job Summary
AI Scientist group at IQVIA's AI/DS realm collaborates with pharmaceutical and life-sciences customers to implement Generative AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities include fine-tuning or distilling LLMs for various use cases, transforming raw data into trainable datasets for LLM fine-tuning, designing AI agents within IQVIA’s Agentic AI framework, creating proofs-of-concept to demonstrate Generative AI capabilities, staying current with AI advancements and applying them to real-world scenarios, providing technical leadership and mentorship, presenting AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders, applying consulting principles to tailor AI solutions to client needs, collaborating with internal teams and biomedical institutions to address business needs, and building scalable AI deployments with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in fine-tuning/distilling LLM
- Hands-on experience with SFT, DPO, PPO, reward modeling
- Publications in top AI conferences a plus
- Strong Python skills with LangChain/LangGraph ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks) and deploying ML models at scale (Azure OpenAI Services)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment
